Whp keeps pushing this Bruce and Barbara ship, other superheros have similar awful ships but those tend to be left in the past.

It's insane to me this show has fans (on DC twitter) who will genuinely try to convince you this is a good show when it spends all of its time proving exactly why it isn't

They dont want Martin Manhunter on the big screen like that because he can outshine Superman, but more importantly, he's black.

The problem with the Milestone characters coming to the big screen or the public eye in general, is that they are copies of established famous characters. Static is Spider-Man but his power set makes him stand apart from Spidey. Icon is Superman. Rocket is Robin. Hardware is Iron-Man. The Blood Syndicate are the X-Men. People will see most of those similarities and blast them for it. (Racist gonna hate)

Tbh I even had to think for a hot minute to name five non-lightning black superheroes, but I got there. Ironically Miles Morales - arguably the most famous modern black superhero - despite being a Spider-Man, also has electric abilities. First, if by "Black" you mean African-American, Black Panther doesn't count because he's African. But anyway, the first five I remembered were - John Stewart Green Lantern Icon (formerly Fawcett Comics, currently DC) Vixen Spawn Mister Terrific Edit: I mixed up Milestone and Fawcett. Whoops

One of the places YJ really screwed the pooch was with their (mis)characterizations of Captain Marvel and Mary Marvel. Cap was once again portrayed as "Big in tights," but Mary got it worse. First aged up in her Marvel form, then the gods-awful name change to "Sergeant" Marvel, then sticking her in a horrible white version of her brother's union suit. Blech. I'm only glad the Fawcett heroes are all public domain.

If you want a good Cyborg interpretation, you should check out Doom Patrol Doom Patrol is such an underrated show in general. Very well written, and really absurd and funny

James Gunn has a ego problem cast of the actors it wasn't their fault that the scripts lackluster it's called getting better writers a lot of fans upset the firing of Henry Cavill and now Gal Gadot.
